What this site is
The camps directory
Listings come from public sources, camp operators, and reader submissions. We review submissions before they publish, but we do not inspect camps, verify their safety practices, or endorse them. A listing is not a recommendation. Vet any camp yourself before you send your kid.
Camp operators can claim their listing for free after we verify ownership. We can edit, decline, or remove any listing or claim at any time, including for inaccurate information or conduct that puts readers at risk.
What you submit
When you submit a camp, a review, a correction, or a photo, you keep ownership of it. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, edit for length and clarity, and display it on this site. You represent that what you submit is yours to give, is honest, and is based on real experience.
Reviews are moderated before they publish. We publish honest reviews, positive and negative. We reject spam, personal attacks, reviews from competitors posing as parents, and anything we cannot in good conscience put in front of other parents. We do not pay for reviews and do not accept payment to remove them.
Photos. By uploading photos you confirm you own them and have written consent from a parent or guardian for any child shown. We remove photos on request from a parent or guardian of a child pictured: email [email protected].
Search data
When you use the search feature on this site, we log your search query, the number of results returned, and basic technical data (browser type and referring page). We do not tie search logs to your identity, your email address, or any account.
We use this data to understand what topics parents and coaches are looking for and to make decisions about what content to write next. We do not sell this data to third parties and we do not share it with advertisers.
Copyright and takedowns
The editorial content on this site belongs to Parent Coach Desk. You can share excerpts with a link back. You cannot republish whole pieces, scrape the directory for a competing product, or pass our work off as yours.
If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with the URL, a description of the work you own, and your contact information. We review takedown requests promptly and remove infringing material.
No warranties, limited liability
