Terms

Terms of use.

Effective date: August 4, 2026. By using this site you agree to these terms.

AI-assisted and synthetic content

The site uses AI tools to assist drafting, research organization, data enrichment, and production. AI assistance does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular decision.

AI-assisted editorial material is identified on the affected article. Human review status is stated separately and is not implied by an AI notice. Parent Coach Desk remains responsible for material it publishes. See AI transparency.

Acceptance and who can use this site

By using parentcoachdesk.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

United States scope. Parent Coach Desk is published primarily for a United States audience. The public informational site remains accessible elsewhere. Parent Coach Desk does not directly sell goods or paid subscriptions on this site; third-party newsletter and affiliate providers control their own eligibility, availability, and transaction terms.

The site itself is open to anyone. Interactive features, meaning a review, a comment, a camp submission or correction, or a newsletter signup, require you to be at least 13 years old. If you are a parent or guardian acting on behalf of a child under 13, you are the one using the feature and the one responsible for what gets submitted under your name or email.

What this site provides

Parent Coach Desk publishes general information for parents of kids in youth sports and activities: cost breakdowns, gear guides, drills, camp and program listings, and the parts of youth sports nobody explains well.

None of it is medical advice, legal advice, or a safety certification of any camp, coach, program, or piece of equipment. Decisions about your child's health, safety, or legal situation belong to you and the qualified professional you consult, not to an article on this site. Nothing here replaces the judgment of a physician, a certified athletic trainer, or a certified coach working directly with your child. When a topic touches injury, concussion, mental health, or return-to-play timing, follow your clinician, your league's protocol, and the relevant governing body first. Our privacy and disclosure page covers how the site is funded and what data we collect.

Reviews and comments: the license you grant us

When you submit a review, comment, or similar content to this site, you keep ownership of what you wrote. You grant Parent Coach Desk a license that is perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and non-exclusive to display, reproduce, edit for length and clarity, excerpt, moderate, and remove that content, in whole or in part, on the site and in related promotional material.

We do not sell your review or comment to a third party, and we do not license it to an advertiser. By submitting, you confirm the content describes your own first-hand experience, that you have the right to share it, that it does not contain private information about anyone else, especially a child, and that it was not written in exchange for undisclosed compensation from a camp, program, or brand.

Review rules

Write about your own first-hand experience with a camp, program, product, or service, not something you heard secondhand.

Do not include a child's name, school, team, roster number, photo, or any other detail that could identify a minor. Write about the program, not the kid.

Do not post anything defamatory, threatening, or promotional. No advertising a competing business and no spam links.

We may decline to publish, edit, or remove any review or comment at our discretion, without notice, and we are not obligated to explain why.

The camps directory and your submissions

Camp and program listings come from public sources, camp operators, and reader submissions. We review submissions before they publish, but we do not inspect camps, verify their safety practices, or endorse them. A listing is not a recommendation; vet any camp yourself before you send your kid.

Review and camp-claiming features carry their own verification, moderation, and privacy controls and may not be open on every listing yet. Where they are open, the license and the review rules above are what govern them. Readers and camp operators can also use our correction and removal request form at any time.

Photos. By uploading photos you confirm you own them and have written consent from a parent or guardian for any child shown. We remove photos on request from a parent or guardian of a child pictured: email support@parentcoachdesk.com.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site pay us a commission when you buy through them, including links in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Full detail on who pays us and how editorial independence is kept separate from that is on our privacy and disclosure page.

Search data

First-party search-demand logging is currently disabled. If it is enabled after its retention and review controls pass, we may record a shortened, automatically redacted search phrase, result count, broad content collection, sport, age band, and timestamp. We do not store a raw IP address, referrer, browser or user-agent string in that dataset, and we do not tie it to an email address or account.

The purpose is to understand unmet parent and coach questions and decide what to improve or write. We do not sell this data or share it with advertisers. Do not put names, contact details, health details, or other personal information into search.

Site content and copyright

The editorial content on this site belongs to Parent Coach Desk. You can share excerpts with a link back. You cannot republish whole pieces, scrape the directory for a competing product, or pass our work off as yours.

If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, email support@parentcoachdesk.com with the URL, a description of the work you own, and your contact information. We review takedown requests promptly and remove infringing material.

Acceptable use and termination

Beyond the review rules above, do not use this site to harass, threaten, or defame another person, impersonate any person or organization, post another person's personal information without their consent, scrape or bulk-copy the directory or site content for a competing product or database, break the law, access data or admin systems you are not authorized to see, introduce malware, or interfere with the site's normal operation.

We can suspend or end your access to interactive features, meaning reviews, comments, the newsletter, or submission forms, at any time and for any reason, including a violation of these terms. You can stop using the site at any time. Ownership, the license you granted us, the disclaimers, the liability limits, and the indemnification below all continue to apply after your access ends.

No warranties, limited liability

The site is provided as-is. We work to keep information accurate and we post corrections when we get something wrong, but we make no warranty that any page is complete, current, or fit for your situation. Costs change, rules change, camps close.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Parent Coach Desk and its writers are not liable for damages arising from your use of the site, the directory, a review you read, or anything you buy through links on it. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless Parent Coach Desk, Field & Forge Ventures, and their writers from any claim, damage, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from content you submit, your violation of these terms, or your misuse of the site.

The boring rest

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pierce County, Washington, and you consent to that venue. We may update these terms; the effective date at the top tells you when. If we change something material, we will say so plainly rather than bury it.

Parent Coach Desk is published by Field & Forge Ventures.
