Ohio's new law lets a public-school athlete play for a neighboring school if their own doesn't offer the sport

Ohio's Student Athlete Mobility Act lets a public high schooler petition to play a sport their own school doesn't offer at a neighboring public school, starting with the 2026-27 school year. Superintendents in both districts have to approve the petition. It isn't open enrollment: your kid's school has to skip the sport entirely before the door opens.
